For this assignment, Ridge Road brought a high-resolution digital video camera that creates stunning footage at 35.4 megapixels per frame—the RED DSMC2 Helium—to a stills photo shoot. This method of capturing our subjects on set at Premier’s Raleigh-Durham headquarters netted a fantastic secondary benefit: every setup could be used as both still photography or as full-motion video footage. This technique solidified Premier’s brand imagery approach within all print, interactive, and video-based properties, creating a unified look and feel across all channels and platforms. The original footage was shot as LOG and then color graded to black and white via Blackmagic Design’s Davinci 15.
